The Brief

Escone Solutions, a rapidly growing business application support provider, based in Aberdeen Scotland, invited us to work with Flux, a creative, quirky, branding company, based also in Aberdeen.

The challenge was to piece together a site design involving a huge number of connected visual elements that wouldn’t end up going skee-wiff when users changed screen size on desktop or viewed them on tablets or mobiles.

We were also invited to clean out their website and put it on a more long term secure footing as their previous website had been impacted by various hacking events.

The Solution

The challenge of keeping the jigsaw pieces stuck together as screens change shape, involved a mixture of positioning of the visual elements and coding some of the images ourselves (eg. circles and text above is all hand coded using css) in order to make all the pieces move and morph as needed.

Results

The new website is helping Escone Solutions to achieve their primary goal of reaching out to potential clients and communicating what their company does as clearly and effectively as possible.

The previous hacking was cleaned up and we moved them to Flywheel – a highly secure WP managed server which we use for many of our website clients and have been taken on by them to provide site-care and security monitoring so they can concentrate on becoming fabulous!

As their company is growing fast, we are now working with them in adding new arms and legs as the site grows – but keeping the integrity of the overall branding and design produced by Flux.
